AMY WINEHOUSE VISITS JAILBIRD HUBBY
Unless you've been living under a rock, you know that Amy Winehouse hasn't been taking the incarceration of her husband Blake Fielder-Civil very well. The only thing keeping her going is the fact that she gets to visit him frequently.
Earlier today, the "Rehab" singer stopped by the London prison to pay her love a visit. When she arrived, the prison guards made her wait outside until she was approved by the warden.
During her wait, she smoked a cigarette, and informed the paparazzi that Blake is doing "fantastic." She even smiled when one of the shutterbugs paid her a compliment on her appearance.
After the prison visit, Amy stopped by a convenience store and picked up a bottle of wine, sweets and Walkers Sensations potato chips before returning home.
Given her emotional breakdown earlier this week, it is good to hear that Winehouse is feeling positive again. Friend/producer Mark Ronson reported that she's really excited about her six Grammy Nominations.
He said, "She's good. I called her today because the record was something that we went through together ... Hopefully she will get into America so we can celebrate. Amy doesn't get excited about anything. She was never once excited while in the studio. And today she is just like, 'Yeah, Ronnie, chops, we got Grammy nominations.' That's her. But she is happy and psyched."
