LINDSAY LOHAN'S DRUNK DRIVING DENIAL HOLDS WATER
Sure, she's got a bad reputation. But in her case against Raymundo Ortega regarding an automobile collision, it looks like Lindsay Lohan is innocent of drunk driving.
Earlier this month, LiLo submitted an official deposition in which she stated, "I did not consume an alcoholic beverage or any type of medication or drug in the hours prior to my arrival at the Ivy. Additionally, at no time between my arrival at the Ivy and the subject automobile accident did I consume an alcoholic beverage, medication or other drug."
And she's not the only one singing that song. Fortunately for the "Mean Girls" actress, her waiter has come forward to corroborate her story. Adam Novicki told the court, "I know for a fact Miss Lohan did not order an Ivy gimlet."
Even LAPD Alonzo Howell, who was working security at the Ivy that day, backs Lindsay up. "She appeared coherent, spoke without slurring words, was steady on her feet, walked without staggering, maintained her complete balance, and her eyes were not bloodshot."
With all of this said, it looks like Ortega's attorney has his work cut out for him if he hopes to win the $200,000+ case. In addition, if the troubled singer/actress is proven innocent, Raymundo has a $75,000 countersuit to worry about.
