MICHELLE RODRIQUEZ TO SPEND CHRISTMAS IN JAIL
Ho Ho Ho, and away she goes! Yesterday, Michelle Rodriguez began her six-month jail sentence at the Lynwood Correctional Facility. She was booked at 4:33 pm.
And while the judge in her case explicitly forbade her from being released early from the facility (the same jail in which Paris Hilton, Nicole Richie, and Lindsay Lohan all did time), she still may be able to get some time shaved off her sentence.
First of all, there's the whole overcrowding issue that we're always hearing about. Legal experts say that the Sheriff's office may be forced to override the judge's ruling if there's no room for the "Fast and Furious" actress (she only served 20 minutes of a past sentence for a similar reason).
Also, if Michelle keeps her cool, and doesn't act out, she could also get a lesser sentence due to good behavior. Back in October, Rodriguez was sentenced to 6 months in the slammer for "admitted violating her probation by failing to provide proof of completion of her community service and for consuming alcohol three times while wearing an alcohol-monitoring device."
