MTV prankster wants to open Pa. theater (AP)

WEST CHESTER, Pa. - Bam Margera has been on screen plenty of times. Now he wants to own one. The professional skateboarder, prankster and MTV star is teaming with a business partner to open a theater in his hometown of West Chester.

The theater, so far unnamed, will feature musical acts, standup comedians and films. Construction is under way for a projected opening in the spring.

"This is the real deal," said Margera, 28. "I just want to own a piece of West Chester."

Margera has used the quaint town outside Philadelphia as a backdrop for episodes of MTV's "Jackass" and "Viva La Bam."
