PETA TARGETS THE OLSEN TWINS
They're Hollywood's cutest and richest twins. But when it comes to PETA, the names Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen are mud.
The animal rights organization is staging a campaign against the "Full House" actresses for their blatant and overt use of animal fur in their designer clothes, as well as their own wardrobes.
People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals have even come up with their own nicknames for the famous pair. Ashley has become "Trashley" and Mary-Kate is now "Hairy Kate." Can you say "second grade?"
PETA told press, "Mary-Kate and Ashley have ignored pleas to stop wearing fur and are still using it in their fashion collection."
As a result, there will be a "Trollsen Twins" poster unveiled at their Hollywood Walk of Fame star today. It is said to have the catch phrase "Fur Is Worn by Beautiful Animals and Ugly People." Classy!
