SHERYL CROW DOES LUNCH, TALKS NEW ALBUM
While most of us can just throw on some track pants and a hoodie and head out for lunch, celebrities have to meticulously primp before leaving the house. Case in point; Sheryl Crow. While it was just a casual lunch at the Ivy Restaurant with gal pal Rita Wilson, she had to make sure she looked fabulous prior to stepping out in front of the paparazzi.
The "If it Makes You Happy" singer has plenty to be thankful for this holiday season- she has a new album coming out, and it looks to be a winner.
While doing press for "Detours," due out February 5th, Crow told press, "This is the most honest record I've ever made. It's about being forced to wake up."
And she's had plenty of fodder for songwriting. "This album is very inspired by the last three years of events in my life." During that time, she got engaged and broke up with Lance Armstrong, beat breast cancer, and adopted her son Wyatt.
