Charlize Theron's Space Invaded (E! Online)

Los Angeles (E! Online) - Charlize Theron has been the victim of a Hollywood job.

Los Angeles police are investigating a break-in that took place Saturday at the actress Hollywood Hills home, E! News has confirmed.

The residence had been secured Thursday, according to an LAPD spokesperson, but an unknown number of suspects took the liberty of reopening it over the weekend.

Its unknown at this time what, if anything, was taken from the house or if anyone who was supposed to be there was on the premises at the time.

Therons neighbors did not report seeing any suspicious characters, police said.

There was no immediate comment from the Oscar winners publicist.

The 32-year-old Monster star was most recently on the big screen in Paul Haggis Iraq war-aftermath drama In the Valley of Elah.

Fellow A-listers Faith Hill and Tim McGraw also fell prey to a home invasion back in February. The nearly fulltime Nashville residents were luckily not home when a burglar broke into their Hollywood Hills manse, which sits in a gated community, and stole an unknown amount of cash.
