Divorce No.3 for Pamela Anderson: court petition (AFP)

LOS ANGELES (AFP) - Former "Baywatch" star and pin-up queen Pamela Anderson has filed for divorce from her third husband, less than three months after tying the knot, court documents showed on Monday.

Anderson, 40, filed for divorce from Rick Salomon in the Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday, citing irreconcilable differences just 70 days after the couple got married in Las Vegas on October 6, documents showed.

However, later Monday, in a cryptic message posted on her official website, Anderson hinted that the marriage might yet be saved.

"P.S. Were working things out," the message in Andersons diary remarked, without referring to the divorce. Andersons spokesperson could not be reached for comment.

Only last month Anderson told interviewers she was deeply in love with Salomon and looking forward to settling down with the 39-year-old, notorious for his involvement in Paris Hiltons sex videotape.

"Im the happiest Ive ever been," Anderson told USA Today in an interview about her latest husband. "Were good for each other."

Last week Anderson denied reports she and Salomon were planning a new reality television series, writing on her blog that she had considered an offer but decided against it for family reasons.

"The choices I have to make now are about quality of life. And meaning. Not about money or fame for no good reason," Anderson wrote.

"I know Ive made a lot of mistakes. But no regrets -- Just living such a huge dream. ... Im blessed. So many options. I cant complain. I can be confused."

Andersons marriage to Salomon was her third. She was married for three years to Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee between 1995 and 1998 and had a similarly short-lived three-month marriage to rock star Kid Rock last year.
