LONDON (Hollywood Reporter) - Josh Lucas is set to star in "Gods Spy," a thriller based on the true events that culminated in the discovery of Italian banker Roberto Calvi hanging under Londons Blackfriars Bridge in 1982, the producers said Friday.

The 15 million-budgeted picture, which will shoot in 2008 in Montreal, also features Jordi Molla, Giancarlo Giannini and Peter OToole.

Directed by Andy Morahan, the movie centers on a young Wall Street trader (Lucas) who is really a Jesuit priest working undercover to gain experience of the financial markets. He becomes embroiled in a political and financial conspiracy involving the Vatican Bank, the CIA, the Mafia and freemasonry.
