LOS ANGELES - The Hollywood-area home of Charlize Theron was burglarized, police said Monday. Officers were investigating the burglary that happened at some point between Thursday and Saturday, police Officer Sara Faden.
Authorities did not know what had been taken, and Faden couldn't immediately say who reported the incident or when authorities were first notified.
Theron's publicist, Amanda Silverman, did not immediately respond Monday to an e-mail message seeking more information.
Theron won an Oscar for her role in "Monster." Her screen credits also include "North Country" and "The Cider House Rules."
