AMY WINEHOUSE'S BARBADOS HOLIDAY, GRAMMY PLANS
Drawing a close to a holiday in Barbados, Amy Winehouse was spotted on Saturday at the airport, readying for her flight back to London.
The Rehab singer is said to have "flown out last weekend with the hope that friends would join her in time for New Year's Eve this past Monday." But, according to reports, Amy was left by her lonesome.
A source told the Sun: "They didn't want to be with her unless she was serious about sorting herself out - and she didn't seem to be. She should have used the time to get clean and find new focus in one of the most beautiful places in the world. Instead she has just looked forward to getting home - and getting wasted."
As for her career, recent talk tells that Miss Winehouse plans on making her return to the stage on February 10th at the Grammy Awards. That is, if she can get into the States.
An insider informed the Daily Mirror, "Amy is really excited to be asked to perform at the Grammys. It's a huge event. She's planning to do some sort of soul and Motown medley, and is even weighing up the possibility of a duet with some U.S. stars - particularly Kanye West, who has spoken in the past of wanting to work with her. The only potential problem is that Amy will need a U.S. visa, so she is hoping that her recent arrest won't cause any problems."
